After suffering from back
pain and intermittent muscle spasms for several years I was recommended
by my G.P. and Osteopath to give Pilates a try alongside my Osteopathy
treatment.
I have completed a five-session programme at Joanne Roper's Pilates
Studio. The course was tailor-made to suit me on a one to one basis.
The pain has subsided and I have greater flexibility. I found Jo to
be an excellent tutor with a vast knowledge in her field and I now make
a 25 minute exercise programme part of my everyday life.

Dear Jo - When my osteopath recommended Pilates with
you, having never stuck to an exercise regime in my 50 years (usually
avoiding them like the plague, in fact), I had no great hope of either
gaining anything or staying with the sessions.
Nearly four months later I find I am looking forward
to the weekly sessions with you and am using Pilates at home on a daily
basis. I miss the exercises (both mentally and physically) if I miss
a day or two in the week.
